Nature Studies
Jim and Bon have collected scenic images along trails they have backpacked, cross country skied or back country roads they have traveled, mainly in Colorado, for over 30 years. All floral images have been captured where they bloom, using natures light in true plein aire tradition. Bon artistically enhances her photographic art with "painting" by hand digitally in varying degrees. Jim's true exact craftsmanship shines though with his simplistic approach. The giclee prints are produced using professional pigment inks on European hand molded watercolor paper and have over a 100 year life expectancy. The images are archival in presentation which includes glass, museum matting and gallery frame. Each art work is a Limited Edition and is signed and numbered by the artist. |
Garden Collection
A walk in the garden, a quiet place to sit, relax and reflect on natures beauty. Jim and Bon love strolling through various gardens together with their camera equipment. Each image is carefully considered before production. Bon enhances her work at varying levels, sometimes enhancing only the background, sometimes completely painting the entire image.
